PHOTOS: Balboa Parade Kicks-Off Start to Summer

The theme of this year's parade, "Rock Around The Island" was fitting for Sunday's 19th annual Balboa Island Parade.

The summer kick-off parade is one of the largest in California and in keeping with the Island tradition, there were plenty of kids, dogs, tricked out golf carts, floats,  marching bands and more.
