Newport's Vivante Gears Up for Thanksgiving Food Drive

Vivante on the Coast partners with Share Our Selves to collect Thanksgiving food for needy families.

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and many local families are in need of help to fill their holiday dinner tables.

Vivante on the Coast, a new luxury retirement community in the Newport-Mesa area, is joining forces with Share Our Selves, an organization that works to help the poor, to collect food for needy families during the Thanksgiving holiday. The Thanksgiving food drive will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 14 from noon to 6 p.m. at the Vivante leasing office located at 320 West Coast Highway in Newport Beach.

Event organizers are asking the community to donate non-perishable food items including canned vegetables, fruits, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, boxes pasta mixes and stuffing mixes. Vivante will purchase and donate turkeys to help complete the meals for the families.

For more information about the Thanksgiving food drive visit vivanteliving.com or call 949-629-2100.
