Newport Beach Wine Festival in Town This Weekend

The annual wine festival runs through Sunday at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort.

Wines from more than 60 countries, cheeses, tastings, cocktails, a tapas seminar and more are underway at the Balboa Bay Club & Resort with the good times continuing throughout Memorial Day Weekend.

The 9th annual Newport Beach Wine Festival began today and has a jam-packed itinerary until Sunday. Saturday's events include a Spanish Wines and Tapas Seminar at 2 p.m., a cheese and wine pairing seminar at 4 p.m. and the Grand Tasting from 7-10:30 p.m. which features over 200 wines, more than 30 cheeses, musical entertainment and more. Sunday's lineup features Brunch in the First Cabin Restaurant from 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m., an Argintinean barbecue from 4 - 7 p.m. and Cigars, Spirits and Sweets from 6 to 8 p.m. featuring specialty cocktails, desserts, cheeses and more.
