The Travel Channel has given Newport Beach a spot on its list of the top 10 beaches in Southern California.
Newport Beach boasts a harbor where "most folks will only dream of docking a yacht in," beachside bungalows, a shopping district better than Rodeo Drive and an "utterly magnificent stretch of beach," according to the Travel Channel.
Crystal Cove State Park also made the list.
The Travel Channel selected Crystal Cove as one of its "remarkable" escapes because of its "secluded beach stretching some 3.5 miles," and official "underwater park teeming with reefs."
