Great Escape: Moms Grab a Book and Relax
If you are a mom who loves books, the Corona del Mar Branch Library is just the place for you.
Moms often visit the Corona del Mar Branch Library when helping their kiddos with school projects, but when you hard-working women have some free time to yourself it can also be a great place to escape.
The CDM Library, located at 420 Marigold Ave., has a wonderful selection for moms from books and magazines, to movies and computers. Debbie Walker knows all of the library's amenities well, she is the branch coordinator.
“Corona del Mar Branch Library is small and cozy with lots of popular reading materials to enjoy, best-selling novels, books on CD, magazines and DVDs," Walker said. "The refurbishment last year included refocusing the collection to new items, published in the last three years."

The library has six computer workstations, laptop computers and free Wi-Fi. It also houses a large collection of popular new materials including periodicals. But that's not all, there's also a vending machine at the library just incase you need a snack or drink for the drive or walk home.
