Your weekly guide to some kid-friendly events and activities.

If you are looking for a few kid-friendly places and activities, then you have clicked on the right link.  We’ve assembled a weekly calendar with some ideas to keep the kids and the family busy with fun.

 We understand that your time is limited, so we have tackled the research for you.  Check back each Wednesday for a list of events and activities for the entire family to enjoy locally or within reasonable driving distance.

Sesame Street Presents: The Body
Where/When: Every day at the Discovery Science Center, 2500 N. Main St. Santa Ana, from 10:00am to 5:00pm until May 1, 2011.
Why Go?: C’mon, it's Elmo and the Sesame Street bunch in a hands-on exhibit to teach kids about the human body.

Chess Club for Kids and Teens
Where/When: Irvine University Park Library, 4512 Sandburg Way
