Emergency Siren Testing; Skateboarding Lessons
A handful of things happening in and around Newport Beach.
- The city will test its at 12:15 p.m. today.
- City employees will be giving home security tips from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today and Saturday. A booth will be set up at Eastbluff Village Center, 2555 Eastbluff Drive.
- Skatedogs is holding skateboarding classes at the Newport Coast Community Center. Upcoming sessions will be held March 7, 14 and 21. Cost is $89. Call 949-644-3151 for more information.
- Temperatures today are expected to reach 73 degrees, according to the Weather Channel, with mostly sunny skies. Saturday is expected to be a little warmer at 75 degrees and partly cloudy skies. Sunday is expected to top out at 69 degrees, with partly cloudy skies.
- Orange County Restaurant Week is under way and runs through tomorrow, March 5. Several Newport Beach eateries are among the 100 participating restaurants. Don't miss out!
