Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Sinclair, Newport's Cutest Couple

Along with celebrating more than three decades of love on this Valentine's Day, Bob and Robin Sinclair will also be toasting to being named Newport Beach's Cutest Couple.

The Sinclairs were chosen as the winners of the first annual Cutest Couple Contest by Newport Beach Patch readers who voted in the comments section of . The couple were flattered to learn they had won the contest and shared a little bit about their love story with Patch.

Bob and Robin met while working at the Cannery Restaurant in Newport Beach and fell so much in love that they were engaged just eight weeks later.

"We eloped after seven months, and here we are 33 years later," Robin says.

Today they have four adult sons -- Evan, 25, Ross, 26, Cameron, 29, Blake, 31 --  and little granddaughter Olive, 1. After having such a successful marriage, we know Mr. & Mrs. Sinclair have mastered the art of love. So we wanted to know what's the key to their everlasting bond?

Robin says it is pretty simple, as she and her husband share a love for what they call their "Top 5's".

"Family, music, the beach (especially 34th Street), traveling to tropical destinations and the love of all animals," Robin says.

The Sinclairs will receive free dinner and drinks at La Cave Restaurant in Costa Mesa, a long-stemmed rose from Botanica Floral in Corona del Mar, a 5x7 photo frame from Leyla's Frame Shop in CDM and a pair of Patch T-shirts.

Second place goes to Tara Strauss and Rob Schrader who we know will look fabulous cuddling up in a Patch snuggie and matching Patch T-shirts.
