Sidewalks, curbs and gutters along Goldenrod Avenue in Corona del Mar are getting a facelift, compliments of a city project that began this week.
According to the city, crews began working on the Flower Streets Monday replacing gutters, curbs and sidewalks as part of the first phase of the project. In addition to the repairs, the $433,950 project will include construction of curb access ramps to improve pedestrian and wheelchair access.
Work is also scheduled to be done in the Harbor View Hills, Spyglass and Newport Coast neighborhoods. Project completion is expected in May.
