Apple Store Celebrates New Fashion Island Location
The store held its grand re-opening Saturday.
Hundreds of customers lined up early Saturday morning eager to see the newly relocated Apple Store at Fashion Island.
The doors opened at 10 a.m. and customers were greeted with a round of applause from the store's employees. The first 1,000 customers received a free t-shirt.
"I'm a big Apple fan, I have an Ipad, Ipod and Imac," said Danilo Cressman, a visitor from Italy.

The store's interior is complete with a combination of large skylights, halogen lighting, large sales floor, the Genius Bar and designated tables for workshops and personal projects.
The layout seems more organized than the original store and has a new feature, the Briefing Room - dedicated to business customers.
