Animals Blessed Sunday in Newport Beach
The event will be held at Christ Church by the Sea on the Balboa Peninsula.
Today at 2 p.m. Christ Church by the Sea will host a “Blessing of the Animals" in the patio area.
The church is located at 14th Street and Balboa Boulevard on the Balboa Peninsula in Newport Beach. Any and all properly caged or tethered pets are welcome with their owners. The service will be informal and last 15 minutes, followed by the animal blessings.
Since parking at the church is limited, Balboa Peninsula pets are especially encouraged to attend and bring their people partners on foot or by beach cruiser.
