Update: Beaches Reopen In South OC

Orange County's northern beaches are scheduled to open at 4 p.m., while those in South Orange County reopened at 1 p.m.

All beaches, harbors, piers, roads and marinas in Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente reopened at 1 p.m., with those in Huntington Beach, Seal Beach and Sunset Beach set to reopen at 4 p.m.

Orange County Officials are cautioning beachcombers that although no significant coastal flooding occurred earlier in the day, there is still a good possibility of strong currents and waves that may be hazardous to swimmers, boaters and buildings.
