Two Men from the Valley Suspected of Transporting Coke

Police seize nearly $1.3 million in cocaine.

Two men were arrested during a traffic stop in Huntington Beach that led to the seizure of nearly $1.3 million in cocaine, police said today.

Antonio Tzampop, 44, and Jose Campos, 39, both of Panorama City, were booked Tuesday at Huntington Beach's jail on suspicion of transporting a controlled substance, said Huntington Beach police Lt. Mitch O'Brien.

The black Nissan Sentra the two were in was pulled over at Edinger Avenue and Countess Drive for a traffic violation, O'Brien said.

A search of their vehicle led police to a large tire in the trunk that did not fit the car, which was concealing 27 kilograms of cocaine, with a street value of nearly $1.3 million, O'Brien said.
