Amazing Whale Photo Captured off Orange County Coast

No, not the Twitter whale. His real-life counterpart in all his glory.

Sometimes, a single photo can take your breath away.

This photo, caught by Dana Wharf Sportfishing in Dana Point off the coast of Laguna Beach is one of those. They tweeted it out Thursday.

It's one of those rare occasions when, really, we have no words.

It's a real picture...it's called depth perception.....Google it

Joey, is debt perception fostered by the illusion that 'deficits don't matter'? A simple electronic credit can create hundreds of millions of dollars in the blink of an eye. Almost like a Kreskin event. Now you see it, now you don't. You mean they can do the same with cameras these days too? Like I said. I am darn glad that I'm as old as I am. We're turning the keys over to you young bucks. You get behind the wheel of this magnificent machine and take over. Just try to steer clear of steep cliffs.

What the should have done to make the photo look more real is to add depth of field.

"What the should have done to make the photo look more real is to add depth of field." Also, they should have removed that small "Made in China" placard below the whale's lower jaw.

That is so fake, I'm sorry, but no way is this real. I am a photographer & understand depth perception & well this is not right.
