NEWPORT BEACH, CALIF., Aug. 12, 2013 – Boys Hope Girls Hope (BHGH) of Southern California (www.boyshopegirlshope.org/socal) is partnering with Lido Theatre in Newport Beach to present a special movie premier and charity event that will take place on Thursday, August 15. This movie premier is being held to raise funds to support academically capable yet disadvantage children pursue their dreams of higher education. Through the BHGH Program, children are provided H.O.P.E. – homes, opportunities, parenting and education and are provided a stable learning environment, access to competitive schools, healthy living, tutoring and counseling services, amongst other crucial needs. These children come from backgrounds of poverty, abuse, and neglect.
"This classic surf movie premier will connect the community with Boys Hope Girls Hope," says Diane DiCorpo, Executive Director of BHGH. "All ticket proceeds benefit our teens and by attending, you are providing our young scholars with the means to visit colleges, participate in afterschool educational programs, and more. It's going to be a fun, surf-filled evening!"
