Enjoy A Bite of Spring with New Menu at Z'Tejas!

Springtime means new beginnings and, in keeping with the season, Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill at South Coast Plaza is introducing its new spring menu. Executive Chef Daniel Stevens has announced a new line-up of creative fare distinguished by the use of fresh seasonal ingredients, bold flavors and value. Lunchtime items include Toasted Cornbread Spring Salad for $8.95; Fish Tacos for $11.95 (also available for dinner); and Sweet Chile Pork Tenderloin over sautéed spinach and arugula, finished with sweet chile butter sauce and garnished with an orange and jalapeño salad for $13.95 (also available for dinner).

New dinner selections include Seafood Paella (scallops, shrimp, mussels and Andouille sausage) tossed with toasted saffron and green peas rice for $17.95; and Southern Chicken Thighs served with southern-style succotash, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and finished with mango chutney for $12.95 (also available at lunch).
Among the new drink offerings are the Berried Treasure featuring Herradura Silver, Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur, fresh blackberries, lime juice and Herradura Agave Nectar for $8.50; and the Chambord Rocks Margarita, a spin-off of the award-winning 6th Street Margarita with a Chambord Black Raspberry Liqueur twist for $8.50. 

Z’Tejas Southwestern Grill offers a wide array of fresh, flavorful and innovative menu items inspired by culinary influences from Louisiana, Texas, California and Mexico. The restaurant’s interior features an exhibition kitchen, private dining room, mahogany bar, wrought iron detailing, handcrafted tile work, copper accents, jewel-toned fabric lined booths and flattering amber-colored lighting. Al fresco dining is available on the restaurant’s 85-seat heated patio.
