Drink Craft Beer to Support Clean Water!

On Saturday, October 19th from 1:00-4:00 p.m., Orange County Coastkeeper (Coastkeeper) will host the second annual CleanWaterFest with Noble Ale Works. This craft beer tasting event benefits Coastkeeper’s ongoing efforts to protect and preserve the marine habitats and watersheds of Orange County. The festival will take place in the campus quad of Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa.

Advance tickets are $35 and can be purchased at www.coastkeeper.org/cleanwaterfest. Walk-in price is $40, and designated driver price is $20. Guests will receive ten 4 oz. tasters of beer. In addition to Noble Ale Works, also attending are The Bruery, Bootlegger's Brewery, Beachwood Brewing, Cismontane, Haven Brewing, Pizza Port, Tustin Brewing Company, Ballast Point, Stone and Hangar 24. Noble will be releasing a special Oktoberfest beer at this event. Food will be available for purchase from local vendors such as Brew Hawg’s BBQ, Garlic Scapes, Rubio’s, Slater’s 50/50 and BITE ME Food. There will also be a raffle.

CleanWaterFest was created in 2012 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Clean Water Act, a fundamental part of improving the quality and health of creeks, rivers, and coastal waters by stopping billions of pounds of contamination from polluters. The Clean Water Act will be celebrating its 41st birthday on October 18th. Clean water and a growing craft beer industry are essential for the health of Orange County’s tourism-based economy.
