Celebrate Easter the Right Way at Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort

In keeping with a 22-year tradition, Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has rolled out its Easter weekend line-up for families starting on Saturday, April 19 with a free Easter Egg hunt at 9 a.m. More than 6,000 eggs will be hidden with a variety of goodies contained inside ranging from candy and toys to cash prizes and a token for a bicycle. The Easter Bunny will lead the festivities and be available for family photos. “Flavor Rush,” a popular Orange County food truck specializing in gourmet street food will be available from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

On Easter Sunday, April 20, the resort's Back Bay Bistro, whose brunch was named by Open Table as "Top 10 in Southern California and Top 50 in the U.S." will celebrate the holiday in style with bottomless Champagne and mimosas. The elaborate brunch will include make-your-own omelet station, pancakes, carving station with leg of lamb and prime rib, an array of fresh seafood including scallops, shrimp and crab legs and a chocolate fountain with fresh strawberries, marshmallows and other treats. Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort is a 100-acre non-membership recreational area featuring a 386-site state-of-the-art RV park, 450-slip marina and a private waveless beach and playground that has been enjoyed by families since 1958. Newport Dunes is also is home to 24 mobile cottages that the public may rent. Visitors may rent kayaks, windsurfers, pedal boats, bicycles, and electric boats.
