Celebrate 'All That Jazz' Friday's 1 Year Anniversary at Bayside with Tower of Power Star!

Newport Beach was starving for some live music before Bayside, the critically acclaimed restaurant that sits near the bay, started its “All That Jazz” music series one year ago. To celebrate its anniversary on Friday, March 14, the restaurant is ramping up its talent line-up to feature Tower of Power trumpeter Sal Cracchiolo along with in-house pianist Ron Kobayashi. Tower of Power is one of the most influential American R&B brass bands with record sales in the millions. Owner Marc Ghoukassian said that guests will receive a glass of Champagne to celebrate the milestone.


In addition to live music performed in a lounge setting, Executive Chef Paul Gstrein has earned praise for his late night supper menu that features items like an Angus beef burger, lobster salad bruschetta, a Mediterranean olive medley and garlic Parmesan French fries. Prices range from $5.95 to $12.50. A wide range of premium domestic and imported beers, 34 wines by the glass and handcrafted cocktails are available.

Bayside is a contemporary dining establishment with an extensive menu emphasizing fresh seafood. The 246-seat restaurant, that overlooks the tranquil waters of Newport Harbor, recently completed a massive interior renovation that includes new color scheme, seating and fabric upholstery, modern lighting, acoustical improvements and a generous use of macassar ebony, a rare wood from Indonesia. The remodeled interior lends the ideal backdrop to Bayside's ever-evolving fine art exhibition.
