Update: Health Warning Lifted at Balboa Island
Signs warning of unhealthy bacteria levels were posted Tuesday.
A health warning has been lifted from a section of Balboa Island, the Orange County Health Care Agency reported.
The Orange County Health Care Agency’s Ocean Water Protection Program posted warning signs at the Grand Canal on Balboa Island earlier in the week, but on Thursday afternoon the warning signs were removed.
According to health officials, the bacteria levels now meet health standards.
