SUSPECT OUTSTANDING ? Was it a very well-pulled robbery? This term is longtime cop parlance that means "not captured " and may be confusing to readers. I think it is overused. in the media and it becomes a cliche because it fits in a headline, especially when we generally don't attribute this term to criminals. Just a thought from a 35-year newspaper reporter.
